Debit Cards Compromised at TARGET

As you may know, on December 19, 2013, TARGET, an international retail corporation, reported that information related to debit cards used at their U.S. Target Stores from November 27 to December 15 had been accessed unlawfully.

In order to prevent any fraudulent activity with our members debit cards we have taken the following steps:

  1. One Source requested a list from Target of One Source debit cards used between the dates of November 27 – December 15.
  2. If your debit card was on the list mentioned above, One Source has issued you a new debit card to you. You will be receiving this new card shortly.
  3. Your current debit card will be deactivated on January 13, 2014. You will be able to use your current debit card until the deactivation date or you can call the phone number found on the back of the card and deactivate it yourself.  We suggest that you begin using the new debit card as soon as you receive it.  You should destroy your old card at that time as well.

We have taken the steps to ensure the security of your card services, and we are prepared to answer any questions you may have about these actions.  Your financial well-being is our top priority.

Please feel free to call us with any concerns or questions at 915.592.0223 (El Paso) or 575.523.5524 (Las Cruces).

Thank you,
One Source FCU
